02 Is there an age limit for dental implants?
In terms of the lower limit, the jaw must have finished growing; This usually happens around the age of 18. Although there is no upper age limit, systemic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled diabetes, or active cancer treatment affect the suitability of implants. 05 When can I start eating after the implant?
Since a temporary prosthesis can be placed the same day as the surgical procedure, the aesthetic appearance is not altered; However, no direct chewing load should be placed on the newly placed implant. In the first weeks, a soft, liquid diet is recommended. The gradual transition to solid foods is guided by the doctor during follow-up appointments.
06 Can implants be placed even if a single tooth is missing?
